Phu Quoc International Airport is located in Duong To commune, Phu Quoc city - located in the middle of the island. From here you can easily move to Duong Dong center (10km) or explore famous attractions in Phu Quoc such as Sunset Town, Hon Thom Cable Car, VinWonders Phu Quoc... Currently, every day this airport welcomes hundreds of flights from many places around the world such as Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Thailand, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Shanghai... to Phu Quoc.
For domestic flights, Phu Quoc currently has 3 routes to Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City.
After landing at Phu Quoc airport, visitors have many means of transportation to the hotel or tourist attractions.
- Taxis are a popular means of transportation, always ready to pick up passengers at the arrivals area. Phu Quoc has many taxi companies for you to choose from, popular ones are: Xanh SM, Mai Linh, Vinasun, Phu Quoc Taxi (Nam Thang) or you can book a car through the GrabCar application. Taxi fare from Phu Quoc airport to Duong Dong ward center is about 180,000 - 220,000 VND/way, to An Thoi about 250,000 VND/way.
- Traveling by bus helps you save significantly on costs. After landing, you can go to the airport waiting area and board the bus to Duong Dong with a ticket price of only about 20,000 VND/way.
- Visitors can choose to take VinFast's electric car (free) to Duong Dong and areas in the north of the island. Car pick up at the parking lot in front of the airport.
- For backpackers, you can rent a motorbike to actively move around, costing 120,000 - 150,000 VND/motorbike/day depending on the vehicle model (contact the owner to pick up the motorbike at the airport).

By Sea Ship
In addition to plane transport, visitors can travel to Phu Quoc island by sea, with the route Rach Gia - Phu Quoc or Ha Tien - Phu Quoc, with very reasonable costs.

Hoa Binh Ship
- Hoa Binh Ship is a new high-speed ship company, with only 2 trips per day departing at 8:05 and 12:30.

Ngoc Thanh ship
- Travel time from Rach Gia port is about 1 hour 15 minutes.
- Operating frequency: 2 flights/day, departing from 8:10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Ticket price: from 200,000 - 280,000 VND.
In addition, visitors can also choose to travel by Thanh Thoi ferry, departing from both Ha Tien and Rach Gia wharves. Travel time is about 1 hour 30 minutes. Thanh Thoi ferry also has many ticket incentives for the elderly, people with disabilities and children.
Notes when traveling by boat to Phu Quoc:
- Visitors can go directly to the cruise line's ticket office, select departure time and buy tickets. You should buy early to avoid running out of tickets.
- If booking online, call the hotline number or visit the website, select departure date, time, seat number, seat type and provide complete passenger information.
- Need to present one of the following documents: ID card/CCCD, passport, driver's license, school/student card... before boarding the train.
- You should arrive about 30 minutes before departure.
