The extreme sports art performance shows, which attracted many tourists and became a "sold-out every night" phenomenon in Da Nang last summer, are set to return to Sunset Town, Phu Quoc, with a completely new look. Beginning in November, they promise to "ignite" the year-end festival season on the paradise island.
Both art performance shows, combining Jet Ski (water motorbike) and Flyboard (water jet board), are staged and operated by H2O Events, the world's leading producer of water-based shows combined with fireworks, with over 30 years of experience organizing thousands of performances at theme parks in the US, Australia, China, and other countries.
While Awaken Sea is a solo performance showcasing the world's top Flyboard champions and athletes, Symphony of the Sea is a symphony composed of meticulously staged, artistic performances featuring a stunning combination of Jet Ski, Flyboard, and brilliant flares and fireworks set against Phu Quoc's sea and sky.
Awaken Sea
Inspired by the "wind-breaking" scenes in Hollywood blockbusters such as "James Bond" and Mission Impossible", the extreme sports show Awaken Sea will bring breathtaking performances by the world's top athletes, such as turning dozens of meters in the air or drawing on the water surface with drifts that produce white foam on the sea surface.
Additionally, the Awaken Sea stage will be "heated up" with live interactions between tourists and world champion athletes, performing from heights of dozens of meters above sea level. The audience will be thrilled to see the world’s number one female Flyboard athlete, Kristina Isaeva, who is renowned for performing three consecutive backflips on the Moscow River—a feat celebrated by prestigious publications such as New York Post and Daily Mail; Thomas Kubik, Flyboard World Cup Champion in Italy in 2024 and Guinness World Record holder for the most backflips in one minute; and Lee Sak Yoon, who took 1st place in the UAE tournament and 3rd place at the Flyboard World Cup in Italy in 2024, among others.
True to its name, Awaken Sea offers a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave viewers breathless, exhilarated, and filled with admiration
Symphony of the SeaIf Awaken Sea brings the scenery of Kiss Bridge to life every afternoon, Symphony of the Sea will extend the endless joys into the night on Pearl Island, through the skillful combination of extreme sports and light shows in the stunning bay of Kiss Bridge.
The show is scheduled to take place daily at 7:45 p.m. for 30 minutes. Symphony of the Sea brings together 24 world champion Jet Ski and Flyboard athletes, 18 Malambo drummers from Argentina, and dozens of talented international dancers. The seamless collaboration between artists and athletes, along with stunning stage effects such as water music, lights, lasers, and traditional Vietnamese art elements like flags and kite flutes, will create an extraordinary "artistic feast."
The highlight of the show is the light display, which will be held for the first time on the sea surface in Phu Quoc. Tourists will encounter the "Iron Man" team in LED costumes, with flare wings soaring through the sky. Fireworks launched from Jet Skis will illuminate the sea and sky in brilliant colors, creating powerful visual effects.
Symphony of the Sea, staged by the world’s leading directors and producers, will be a majestic, bustling "stave," while the artists and athletes will represent the soaring, sublime "musical notes" between Pearl Island’s sea and sky.
