Ham Rong Cape is located in the north of Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, and is about 35 kilometers from Duong Dong Town.

Phu Quoc’s northern coast is considered an unspoiled part of the island, where tourists can find imposing evergreen forests interspersed with idyllic beaches. However, only fishermen inhabit the cape, and tourism has not developed much.

Located far away from the center and the hustle and bustle of city life, Ham Rong Cape has become a favorite destination among many travelers, who can get there by motorbike or car.

Ham Rong fascinates visitors with its long, white sand that stands out amid the sparkling blue seawater. Tourists can lie on the sandy beach and sunbathe under the warm golden sunshine.

Ham Rong Cape also boasts a cool fresh atmosphere, surrounded by primeval forests with a diverse ecosystem.

Viewed from above, in the area of Ham Rong Cape, there is a small canal flowing through the forest, pouring into the sea. The crystal-clear blue water of the canal blends with the green of the forest, forming a magnificent natural landscape. Tourists can go kayaking to explore this canal.

From the top of the cape, tourists can witness an overview of Phu Quoc Island, as well as an extremely romantic sunrise and sunset. Visitors can hire a stand up paddleboard or sit on the beach to enjoy the sunset.

Ham Rong Cape is also known as the “Kingdom of Starfish”. From November until April next year, starfish come closer to the shore, get together as flocks, hide under the clear water or lie on the sand.

This is also the most beautiful time to visit Ham Rong Cape. At this time, travelers can camp with their family and friends, dive to explore the world underwater, catch their own seafood and explore the daily lives of the locals on the island.
