The reason Phu Quoc has become a “resort paradise” for Koreans lies in several factors. Since 2022, direct flights between Seoul and Phu Quoc have operated regularly, making travel more convenient than ever. Affordable fares, short distance, and a rich service ecosystem have created strong appeal. For Korean travelers, an ideal trip typically lasts 4 to 5 days, with a preference for private beach resorts, personalized service packages, and activities like boating, snorkeling, or golfing.
Sunset Town – The new tourism icon of Phu Quoc
One of the most talked-about spots by Korean visitors recently is Sunset Town. Located on the southwest coast of the island, it features vibrant Mediterranean architecture, old-style buildings winding along hillsides, and the most iconic sunset view in Phu Quoc. When the last rays of the day cast golden hues across the walls, every street corner becomes the perfect photo backdrop. Sunset Town is not only home to over 60 symbolic works but also the “festival heart” of Phu Quoc with dazzling shows, daily fireworks, and globally inspired events.
