With an initial investment of VND 2.5 trillion, Sun PhuQuoc Airways pioneers a novel resort airline model. Each flight is designed to be more than transportation, it’s the beginning of a seamless vacation within Sun Group’s premium ecosystem. The airline plans to begin ticket sales by late October 2025 and launch its first commercial flights shortly after, offering travelers a completely new flying experience.
1.2. Hub-and-Spoke Network Connecting Phu Quoc to the World
The airline will implement a hub-and-spoke route network connecting Phu Quoc to major Vietnamese cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, and to key international markets including Japan, South Korea, China, and other Asian destinations. Leveraging Phu Quoc’s visa exemption policy for international tourists, Sun PhuQuoc Airways will establish direct international routes, reducing travel time and welcoming millions of travelers annually.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways also aims to bring Phu Quoc closer to domestic travelers. A wide domestic route network will make travel to the island more affordable and convenient. The resort airline model offers a relaxing onboard experience that sets the tone for a memorable holiday in this tropical paradise.
