The first fireworks display of the night came from the show Symphony of the Sea. As the countdown ticks down to the final seconds of 2025, the entire Hoang Hon Town holds its breath before erupting in cheers: "3... 2... 1... Happy New Year!".
At exactly 0:00 AM, the high-altitude fireworks display designed by the reigning DIFF champions officially ignites. With the longest duration of the year and double the usual firework density, the Phu Quoc sky transforms into a magnificent light painting reflecting on the sparkling sea. Simultaneously, the "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026" symbol blazes, concluding the night's series of 3 fireworks shows with a perfect finale.
In that sacred moment, people exchanged warm hugs and sweet kisses amidst resounding cheers. Beer glasses were raised again to celebrate a peaceful new year.
Ms. Anna Ivanova, a Russian tourist, emotional with her family: "It's truly overwhelming and happy! I've never experienced a New Year's celebration as beautiful and brilliant as tonight in Phu Quoc. The fireworks, the sea, the music, everything is perfect. I feel an amazing energy and believe this new year will be full of joy."

The afterglow of the festival continued until dawn to the frenetic DJ beats, turning Sunset Town into a true "sleepless" destination. The success of Spectacular Countdown 2026 was not just about records, but rather the smiles and complete moments of happiness that visitors carried into the new year.

During the New Year holiday, Phu Quoc is welcoming a record number of visitors. Good news from Phu Quoc International Airport , from January 1-4, 2026, the total number of flights to the airport was 288, an increase of 27% compared to the same period. Of which, the number of international flights reached 147, an increase of 23% compared to the same period. Sunset Town also recorded new record numbers, during the New Year holiday, the number of visitors to entertainment and amusement spots increased by 76% compared to the same period. The images of crowds of tourists joyfully welcoming the new year promise a year of continued explosion for the "Pearl Island".
