Sung Hung Pagoda was built in the late 19th century and is dedicated to the worship of Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy of the Southern Sea), the Lady of the Realm, national hero Nguyen Trung Truc, among others.
Every year, on the 30th day of the 7th lunar month, the pagoda holds the Grand Trai Dan Ceremony, which features solemn rituals such as Cong Phu (Early Morning Chanting), Dong Dan (Opening of the Ritual Platform), and Thinh Tieu Dien Thuong Gian (Summoning of the Guardian Spirit).
