Cua Can Fishing Village
Cua Can Fishing Village is a destination for those who love tranquility and untouched landscapes. This small village nestles quietly along the coast, with simple wooden bridges built only for motorbikes and pedestrians. The Cua Can River flows through the area, winding its way past the lush Phu Quoc National Park.

Rach Vem is often referred to as the kingdom of red starfish, with its endless beaches and crystal-clear waters. The best time to visit this village is during the dry season from November to April, when the weather is pleasant, and the sea is calm. This is also when the red starfish gather in large numbers along the shore.

Rach Tram Fishing Village
Tucked behind Phu Quoc National Park, Rach Tram is a hidden gem with an untouched beauty that few places can rival. Located more than 30 km from Duong Dong ward, the route to this fishing village is considered the most challenging among all, adding to the thrill of discovery. It belongs to Bai Thom commune, Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province.

Here, visitors can immerse themselves in nature, with the pristine forest unfolding right before their eyes. Activities worth exploring include visiting the native Melaleuca forest, stopping by floating fish farms, swimming, and taking photos with starfish. Ham Ninh Fishing Village
Another must-visit destination in Phu Quoc is the famous Ham Ninh Fishing Village, located in Ham Ninh commune, about 14 km from Duong Dong town. The locals mainly make their living from the sea, particularly by catching sea cucumbers and crabs, as well as pearl farming.

The village is easily accessible, giving visitors the chance to experience the rhythm of daily life and marvel at the raw beauty of nature. It’s blessed with wide beaches and crystal-clear waters where the seabed is visible.
This is also known as the liveliest fishing village on the island. The local specialty here is Ham Ninh crab, which comes in many delicious forms – steamed, stir-fried with chili, grilled with salt, or even served with rice.
