On April 23, 2025, Kiss of the Sea was officially awarded the title “Largest permanent water projection theater” by the Guinness World Records organization. This marks the first time an outdoor theater in Vietnam has achieved a Guinness World Record, and it is also the second Guinness title awarded to Phu Quoc, following the record for the world’s longest three-wire cable car previously set by the Hon Thom Cable Car.
