Symphony of the Sea – An oceanic masterpiece you’d expect only at Australia’s National Day or global events like the Olympics. Taking place at 7:45 PM every night in Sunset Town, Symphony of the Sea offers travelers a world-class artistic experience that’s usually only seen at national celebrations or international festivals—from South Korea to Saudi Arabia. With a ticket priced at just 250,000 VND per person, visitors are invited to witness a spectacular show unlike any other.

Symphony of the Sea is a sensational feast of artistry, featuring elite-level Jetski and Flyboard performances, dazzling light effects, and a breathtaking fireworks display that lights up the southern skies of the Pearl Island.

One of the biggest highlights is a nearly 20-minute fireworks sequence, combining water, aerial, light, and kite fireworks. Over 400 fireworks with 40 unique effects illuminate the waters and skies of Sunset Town each night, creating the illusion of stepping into another dimension—one filled with light and sheer joy.

The water fireworks, appearing for the first time ever in a show in Vietnam, are produced and installed by the Chinese team—runner-up at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival. These fireworks only explode upon touching a curtain of water, making it appear as though they rise straight from the ocean, forming a vivid garden of light.

What truly defines the character of Symphony of the Sea is the gravity-defying choreography performed by 24 elite athletes—many of whom are world champions in Jetski and Flyboard competitions.

Visitors can expect to witness breathtaking 15-meter-high aerial flips by Kristina Isaeva, runner-up at the 2019 Flyfest World Championship. Also gracing the show are international stars like Thomas Kubik—winner of the 2024 Flyboard World Cup in Italy and Guinness World Record holder for the most flips in one minute—as well as South Korean pride Lee Sak Yoon, champion of the UAE tournament and third-place winner at the 2024 Flyboard World Cup.

Flyboarders soar above the sea, clad in glowing LED suits and wings of sparks—resembling Iron Men streaking through the skies of Phu Quoc, leaving the crowd in awe.

Following the Flyboard athletes is a “poetic welcome” from a fleet of Jetskis in Sunset Bay, darting across the water like a mobile fireworks battlefield. Set against an immersive backdrop of international music, fireworks envelop the sky, the sea, and even the riders’ gear—creating a magical spectacle that dazzles and mesmerizes all who witness it.

Each evening, hundreds of visitors gather at Sunset Town beach, Kiss Bridge, and Sun Bavaria Bistro to catch the performance. Kseniya, a tourist from Kazakhstan, couldn’t contain her excitement: “I’ve never seen anything like this. I feel so lucky to witness such an amazing show right here in Phu Quoc.” Her fellow traveler, Alyona, added: “This is incredible. I just want to invite all my friends from home to come and see this with their own eyes.”

What makes the show even more special is how it subtly weaves elements of Vietnamese culture into an internationally styled performance. From the opening display featuring a traditional festival flag and dazzling fireworks, to the gentle sound of a Vietnamese flute playing the lullaby “Mother Loves Her Child” during the kite fireworks act—it’s a blend of local soul and global spectacle.

In November, Symphony of the Sea is setting off a spectacular “explosion” of entertainment in Sunset Town. Alongside premium offerings like the Awaken Sea sunset show and the festive vibes at Sun Bavaria Bistro—a German-style beer house—the area is fast becoming an entertainment paradise, packed with unforgettable world-class experiences that make Phu Quoc a must-visit destination this holiday season.
