The Central Square and Ho Chi Minh Statue complex is built in Duong Dong ward, Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province, with a scale of 7.45 hectares. The Ho Chi Minh statue and relief are the most important components of the project.
The statue of President Ho Chi Minh is 20.7m high, with the statue body being 18m, the base 0.3m, and the pedestal 2.4m, made of bronze alloy weighing over 93 tons. The statue and its base are cast from bronze alloy, with a stainless steel frame inside. The surface of the pedestal is clad with black granite, and the interior is reinforced concrete. The chosen attire for the statue is a buttonless coat with the hem gently flowing in the wind, symbolizing Uncle Ho's simplicity and closeness to the people. The statue of Uncle Ho places his right hand on his left chest, signifying "Southern Vietnam in My Heart."

The entire statue exudes the aura of a talented, wise, and vibrant leader. The overall height of the statue is harmonious with the surrounding space and the sea and sky of Phu Quoc. The statue was cast in the renowned traditional bronze casting village of Yen Yen district (Nam Dinh).
Behind the statue of President Ho Chi Minh is a double-sided relief, 63m long, with a maximum height of 10.8m, situated on a 1.2m high base. The relief is composed of 484 white stone panels. The front side depicts images of typical scenic spots and historical landmarks from the 17th parallel southward. The back side showcases images of scenic spots, historical landmarks associated with Kien Giang, and places affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over its seas and islands, from Sa Vi Cape (Quang Ninh) to the Tho Chu Islands (Kien Giang).
